Public Summary 2015 - 2016

Click the links below to view our public summary for the past year (Sept, 2015-Sept, 2016.  We've been steadily growing, especially on Cape Breton where new certified woodlots come in under the Cape Breton Privatelnad Partnership (CBPP).  We've surpassed 100,000 acres of certified private woodland over the summer, a major achievement.

Public Summary 2015

The program is continuing to grow at a steady pace thanks to the voluntary efforts of our members.  We're looking forward to our 5 year re-certification audit at the end of September which means we'll have held the certificate for a decade come the new year.  Great job everyone!

Carbon Credit Research

Our partner organization, Cape Breton Privateland Partnership (CBPP) has been fortunate to have Adrianna Sullivan as a summer student working on carbon credit research for the private woodlot sector.  Click here to see the article which ran in a number of regional papers.  Drop us a line if you would like to get your name behind this initiative.
